Should we do breastfeeding like the Caveman did?

Or should I say “cavewoman”? It looks like the “exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months” recommendation of The American Academy of Pediatrics just got a leg up with scientists studying of ancient baby teeth! A study of barium content of baby teeth showed clearly where exclusive breastfeeding ended and when the baby started formula or solid foods. Then an examination of ancient Neanderthal baby teeth revealed the baby didn’t start solid foods until 7 months old, showing that a Neanderthal baby no foods but breast milk for 7 months!
